The SWISH EDITION is the long-running comedy and pop culture podcast, launched in 2010 by Dale Blades & Scott Wallis. Dale, along with Season 15 & 16's Kristin, 'retired' last year, but Scott is still behind the mic in Las Vegas, joined by a revolving line-up of guest hosts, including the newest (even though he's old), Robbie Barnett.
The weekly show features news and sometimes-snarky commentary on the entertainment industry, travel, silly marketing trends, crazy celebrities, crazier criminals, and much more.
Over the course of 16 years, the podcast has been downloaded in 144 countries, featured hundreds of guests from all walks of life, and, once upon a time, reached the top 2% on Apple Podcasts' comedy list.

ABOUT SCOTT
R. Scott Wallis grew up in Williamsburg, Virginia, then lived in and around Washington, DC for 24 years—including working in advance at the White House (albeit not for the current administration) and planning high-level events for one of the richest men on the planet (no, not the RICHEST one).
Once upon a time, Scott worked as the creative director for a Washington think tank. He then created and ran his family's organic baby clothes manufacturing business, before conceiving and operating an award-winning men's clothing store in DC's Dupont Circle neighborhood.
(Yeah, he's swum in a lot of diverse pools.)
Scott moved to Las Vegas, Nevada in 2018, where he feels most at home in the desert southwest. He lives with his husband Dale and their two rescue dogs.
On top of it all, he's published nine fiction novels and has been podcasting before podcasting was cool (and oversaturated). He loves to travel (especially to Palm Springs, Key West, and on the high seas), collect colorful pop art, push his luck with Sin City's slot machines, and binge watch TV shows he's seen a dozen times (think "Dynasty," "Dallas," and "The Sopranos," to name a few).
ABOUT ROBBIE
Robbie Barnett, originally from Norfolk, Virginia, moved to Washington, DC in his 20’s, where he worked for the Washington Blade newspaper, one of the oldest and most trusted gay newspapers in the country, and spent time as a concierge at the very hip W Hotel.
It was during his time in DC where he met Scott and they became fast friends over a shared love of pop culture. He once visited Scott’s clothing store and bought a pair of socks.
DC is also where he met his husband C.J. They now live in Walla Walla, Washington, along with their four cats, where C.J. is an up and coming winemaker having created his own wine label called August Forest, while Robbie works at a local utility company.
Robbie's passions include pop culture, trivia, 80’s music and movies, horror films, listening to audiobooks, defending Madonna, attending pop culture and horror conventions, visiting famous film locations, and all things classic-Hollywood.
WAIT! WHAT HAPPENED TO DALE & KRISTIN?
Scott's two bestest friends in the whole wide world broke Scott's heart when they decided to retire themselves from the show to pursue other projects. (But, Scott'll make 'em come back here and there, mark his words.)
Dale & Scott first met in 2009 and forged a fast friendship based on their mutual love of all-things audio. The former terrestrial radio hosts started podcasting before podcasting was even cool, experimenting with a few short-lived shows before the SWISH EDITION was created in October 2010. The guys moved from Washington, D.C. to Santa Fe, New Mexico in 2017, but soon discovered that Nevada is where they feel most at home. There, they established roots—and their signature 'secret underground studio'—in the outskirts of Sin City, and they couldn't be happier being a quick drive away from the iconic Las Vegas Strip. Dale & Scott are still serial entrepreneurs, degenerate passionate gamblers, and avid travelers (they are super fans of Palm Springs, Key West, and sea cruises).
Scott and Kristin have been best friends since way back in 1987, when they first met in Williamsburg, Virginia. They’ve been inseparable ever since—through high school, college, and all of life’s twists and turns. Kristin lives in Northern Virginia with her husband and young son, where she runs her own consulting business. She loves cooking (and eating!), tracking down the best food finds at Costco, and running around trying to keep up with her 7 year old. When she’s not cooking up something delicious, you’ll find her cheering on the Washington Commanders, exploring local wineries, or soaking up the sun in the Outer Banks. She’s always up for a good meal, a great conversation, and, of course, a hilarious trip down memory lane with Scott.
