FROM LAS VEGAS
TO THE WORLD...
EVERY WEDNESDAY*

SWISH EDITION, the long-running comedy and pop culture audio podcast, launched way back in 2010. Hosted by Dale Blades & Scott Wallis, the weekly show features news and sometimes-snarky commentary on the entertainment industry, travel (with an emphasis on Sin City, of course), silly marketing trends, crazy celebrities, and so much more.

The fun originated in Washington, D.C., before moving to Las Vegas, Nevada in 2018. The show has been heard in over 144 countries around the globe, has featured hundreds of guests from all walks of life, and once upon a time, it reached the top 2% on Apple Podcasts' comedy list. Dale and Scott were beyond tickled when that happened, to say the very least.

You can stream, download, and/or subscribe to the show on most popular podcast distribution apps and sites, such as Spotify, YouTube, iHeart, Apple Podcasts, Audible, YouTube Music, and Podbean. Alternatively, every episode produced since 2018 is available right here at swishedition.com.

* Fresh new episodes drop every Wednesday, from early-September clear through to the end of May. We take the summers off because we like to pretend we're still kids.

THE NEWEST EPISODES ARE ALWAYS RIGHT HERE

EPISODE 447  -  "LOVE, EXCITING AND NEW"  -  Release Date: February 12, 2025

Love is in the air as we speed toward this Friday…Valentine’s Day! Because, man, we need it right now. And based on our local grocery store’s overflowing abundance of balloons, flowers, and chocolate covered strawberries in heart-shaped boxes, Valentine’s Day means business.

This week, Dale and Scott are talking about that, plus game-changing residency announcements from The Backstreet Boys and Kelly Clarkson; this year’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame nominees are announced; a Connecticut state senator wants to force movie theaters to tell us when the actual movie starts; boiling an (expensive) egg is a science; TED TALKS are up for grabs; the Super Bowl attracts a record crowd - we’re talking about the highlights and lowlights, naturally; those Post Malone cookies ain’t all that; why Ye (ne Kanye West) was kicked off Shopify (hint: he’s insane); and, much more pop culture silliness for the week.

Download, stream, and subscribe to SWISH EDITION pop culture & comedy podcast episodes here at swishedition.com and on Apple Podcasts, Spotify, YouTube, iHeartRadio, and almost everywhere else you get your audio podcasts. New episodes drop EVERY Wednesday clear through ’til the end of May.

ABOUT YOUR HOSTS

Dale Blades & Scott Wallis first met in 2009 and forged a fast friendship based on their mutual love of all-things audio. The former terrestrial radio hosts started podcasting before podcasting was even cool, experimenting with a few short-lived shows before the SWISH EDITION was created in late-2010. The guys moved from Washington, D.C. to Santa Fe, New Mexico in 2017, but soon discovered that Nevada is where they feel most at home. They've established roots—and their signature 'secret underground studio'—in the outskirts of Sin City, and they couldn't be happier being a quick drive away from the iconic Las Vegas Strip. Both Dale & Scott are serial entrepreneurs, degenerate passionate gamblers, and avid travelers (they are super fans of Palm Springs, Key West, and sea cruises). They also enjoy spending time with their two rescue dogs, cooking, reading, home improvement projects, and binge watching streaming series and classic movies.
